Coway air purifiers are recommended to run to continuously provide adequate filtration and air circulation. If the unit is only running for a few hours at a time, it will not be able to work as efficiently, and the reports (Wi-Fi Enabled products) won’t be accurate.

Keep in mind that our units need to be powered by a 120V/60Hz outlet. We highly discourage adopting any air purifiers to an extension cord with other devices due to air purifiers requiring strong power. We highly recommend keeping this plugged in on a separate outlet to avoid short circuits or power outages.

Additionally, most of our air purifiers have built-in Smart Mode, that will adjust the fan speed accordingly based on the surrounding pollution. when there's no pollution in the surroundings and run as fan speed 1 every 10 mins of saving power mode to see if there is any further pollution around.
