The air quality sensor is set to standard sensitivity when the product is shipped out. If the pollution level stays at the highest level after 2 hours of operation or remains at the lowest level for more than 1 hour when the air does not seem clean, users can adjust the sensitivity of the air quality sensor as follows.
*If not pressing the sensitivity enter button for more than 10 seconds, the sensitivity will automatically apply to the last sensitivity level setting and go back to its normal operation mode
Airmega 230/240
1. Press the Mode button and the Light button simultaneously for more than 2 seconds
2. The speed indicator flashes at an approximately 0.5 second interval
3. Press the Mode button to adjust to the desired sensitivity. The speed indicator blinks 0.5 second intervals as shown below once sensor sensitivity is selected.
4. Press the Mode button and the Light button simultaneously for more than 2 seconds, the selected sensitivity will be inputted, and the product will start operating normally.
Airmega Icon/IconS
While the product is operating, press the mode button and the light button simultaneously for more than 2 seconds. Pull the top of the back cover to open.
The current set sensitivity level is displayed on the indicator. The default sensitivity is Level 2 - Normal
Press the mode button to adjust the desired sensor sensitivity. The mode button blinks as shown below once sensor sensitivity has been selected.
Press the filter reset button and the light button simultaneously for more than 2 seconds, the selected sensitivity will be input, and the product will start operating normally.
Airmega 250/250S
1. While the product is operating, press the [Mode] button and the [Speed] button at the same time for more than 2 seconds. The speed indicator blinks to display the current sensor sensitivity level.
· Initial sensor sensitivity is at the normal level
2. Press the [Mode] button to adjust to the desired sensitivity.
The mode indicator blinks as shown below once sensor sensitivity has been selected.
3. Press the [Mode] button and the [Speed] button simultaneously for more than about 2 seconds, the selected sensitivity will be inputted, and the product will start operating normally.
Airmega 300 Series & 400 Series
1. Touch and hold the following buttons simultaneously for more than 3 seconds.
300/300S: [Light] Button + [Air Speed/Mode] Button
400/400S: [Light] Button + Smart Button
2. Select the sensor sensitivity
300/300S: Touch the [Air speed/mode] button repeatedly until the desired air sensitivity is selected
400/400S: Touch one of the air speeds to select the desired sensitivity
3. Touch and hold the following buttons to set up the desired sensitivity level.
300/300S: [Light] Button + [Air speed/mode] button
400/400S: [Light] button + Smart
Airmega 150 & 160
1. While the product is operating, press the Power button and the Fan Speed button simultaneously for more than 2 seconds.
2. The speed indicator flashes at an approximately 0.5-second interval.
3. Press the speed button to adjust it to the desired sensitivity. The speed indicator blinks as shown below once sensor sensitivity has been selected.
4. Press the Power button and the Speed button simultaneously for more than 2 seconds, the selected sensitivity will be inputted, and the product will start operating normally.
Airmega 1512HH & 200M & 1512HHS
1. While the product is operating, press the Fan Speed button and the Ionizer (Light for HHS) button simultaneously for more than 2 seconds.
2. The speed indicator flashes at an approximately 0.5-second interval.
3. Press the speed button to adjust it to the desired sensitivity. The speed indicator blinks as shown below once sensor sensitivity has been selected.
4. Press the Fan Speed button and the Ionizer (Light for HHS) button simultaneously for more than 2 seconds, the selected sensitivity will be inputted, and the product will start operating normally.
Airmega AP-1216L
1. While the air purifier is on, press the airflow speed and ionizer buttons for 2 seconds.
2. The speed indicator will flash at 1.0-second intervals with a beep. The speed indicator blinks to show the sensor sensitivity.
3. Adjust the sensitivity by pressing the speed button. The speed indicator blinks to show the sensor sensitivity.
High sensitivity:
If the air purifier indicates a pollution level of 1 for longer than 1 hour when the actual pollution level is higher.
Low sensitivity:
If the air purifier continues to indicate the highest pollution level even after running the air purifier for more than 2 hours.
4. Press the airflow speed button and ionizer button for 2 seconds. The air purifier will then resume normal operations.
- The new setting will also be applied if no button is input for 10 seconds.
